My Favorite Books
My favorite books my favorite books my favorite books that I read
And my imagination is all I need.
There was a cat, a cat in the hat
Balancing up on a ball.
There was a mitten. When they tried fittin’
It stretched to make room for all.
We sit down in front of our teacher’s chair
She reads to us every day
Sometimes it’s picture books sometimes it’s chapter books
The stories just take me away.
If you give a moose a muffin to eat
He’ll probably want jam with it too
There’s a king in the bathtub and he won’t get out
OH who, who knows what to do?
